Blackpool pays respect to the Fallen

On a wet and windy day at Blackpool, the Cenotaph was the place for a large turnout of local Masons and their wives, to remember those lost in conflict.
Of course, our PGM Keith Beardmore was there, with his Deputy Giles Berkley, accompanied by a good number of Mark men and their ladies.   The weather did not dampen the respectful atmosphere, with a wonderful March of Forces personnel taking place, accompanied by Masonic and Civil members.
The release of the white doves of peace after the two minutes of silence was a real highlight, for which the rain temporarily halted.
We were very happy to be joined by Steve Jelly, our Group Chairman, Bob Marsden, our new Group VC, and of course Michael Tax was there holding a banner as ever, our new Assistant Provincial Grand Master in the Craft.
